A pregnant woman suddenly felt unwell on the street, but no one came to help. At the hospital, something truly terrible was discovered

On the street, a pregnant woman suddenly felt ill, but nobody arrived to assist her. Something really horrible was found at the hospital.

A pregnant woman abruptly stopped on a busy street. She stumbled, gripped her stomach, and fell to her knees gradually. No one approached, but onlookers moved away.

In the queue outside a café, someone said, “Here comes the drama.”

Another responded, “Perhaps she’s just feeling lightheaded.”

As she pulled out her phone to video, a woman in a coat spat, “Or another scammer.”

Nobody made a move. I was the only one to move forward. I simply couldn’t watch and do nothing, not because I knew what to do. Her lips were quivering and her face was as white as paper.

— How are you? I knelt next to her and asked.

She was unable to talk. Work? Are you fainting? Anguish? I had no idea. I heard behind me:

It is likely that he will rob her and then pretend to be the hero.

— You! Fool, don’t touch her! Perhaps there’s something infectious about her!

I didn’t pay attention. After picking her up, I drove her to the closest hospital in my car. Something terrible and terrifying was exposed there.

The waiting room was a whirlpool.

Medical professionals hurried over. Hours seemed to stretch into minutes. Then a physician came over:

— She arrived precisely in time thanks to you. The uterus ruptured in the woman. We’re taking her to the operating room right now. She wouldn’t have lived without you. The infant, too.

I was still. I was unable to feel my legs or limbs.

I brought flowers to her hospital room two days later to express my happiness for her. However, the woman began to cry as soon as I walked in.

She muttered, “You—you don’t understand.” My fifth child is this one. In the womb, the other four perished. The only one who made it is this one. I had said my good-byes. However, you are an angel.

I took a seat next to her. In the cradle, the infant was fast sleeping. A female. Warm, pink, and vibrant.

— What was her name? I inquired.

The woman grinned through her tears:

— Hope. After you.
