My MIL Insisted On Babysitting Every Wednesday — Then I Found The Hidden Camera

Before Beverly began acting strangely, Martha thought her mother-in-law Cheryl’s insistence on babysitting every Wednesday was just a harmless favor. But soon, Beverly started refusing the meals Martha prepared and mentioned a mysterious “friend” her grandmother kept talking about. Feeling uneasy, Martha decided to set up a hidden camera to find out what was really happening.

One Wednesday, Martha watched the footage and was shocked to see Cheryl open the door to Jason’s ex-wife, Alexa, who was supposed to be out of their lives. Beverly ran to Alexa happily, calling her “our friend,” and Cheryl told Beverly not to tell Martha about her. The scene felt like a secret they wanted to keep hidden.

When Martha confronted Cheryl and Alexa, Cheryl coldly told her that she was a mistake and that Alexa was the one meant to be with Jason. She said Beverly’s “real family” was with Alexa and Jason, not with Martha. Alexa stayed quiet but seemed complicit. Martha was heartbroken but angry, and she vowed to protect her daughter no matter what.

Martha showed the hidden video to Jason, who was shocked but agreed that neither Cheryl nor Alexa should be allowed near Beverly again. Martha blocked Cheryl’s number and made it clear that some people don’t deserve the title of family. Despite the betrayal and pain, Martha remained strong, determined to keep Beverly safe and loved.
