Texas Mom Gives Birth to Rare Identical Quadruplets During COVID-19 Pandemic

Jenny Marr and her partner Chris from Grapevine, Texas, were expecting their first baby—until a routine ultrasound revealed something extraordinary. At first, they were told Jenny was carrying triplets. Just one week later, a specialist confirmed there were actually four identical babies.

Identical, spontaneous quadruplets are incredibly rare—occurring in just 1 in 11 to 15 million births. Dr. Lauren Murray, their physician, described it as a once-in-a-career moment.

On March 15, 2020, at just 28.5 weeks pregnant, Jenny gave birth via C-section to four healthy baby boys: Harrison, Hardy, Henry, and Hudson. Though born prematurely and kept in the NICU for around 10 weeks, all four boys went home healthy in May.

Now three years old, the boys are thriving. Jenny shares updates with over 140,000 followers on Instagram, offering a glimpse into the busy but joyful life of a family of six. She says parenting four boys is chaotic but full of love and laughter.
