The incident took place on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University, where Kirk was hosting an outdoor event with minimal security despite many threats. Twenty minutes in, a sniper shot him from a rooftop. Panic followed, and questions quickly arose about the lack of rooftop checks, weak police presence, no medical team, and the decision to rush him into a vehicle instead of waiting for paramedics.
Authorities say the shooter, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, acted alone. Still, the footage has fueled ongoing speculation and distrust over what really happened.
