A Strong Plan to Help the Middle Class and Close Rich Peoples Loopholes

The middle class is the backbone of the economy, yet many families face rising costs, stagnant wages, and financial insecurity. To address this, we need a strong economic plan that supports working families and ensures the wealthy pay their fair share.

By closing tax loopholes for billionaires and corporations—such as carried interest and offshore havens—we can generate revenue to fund affordable childcare, student debt relief, and infrastructure that creates good-paying jobs. We must also directly support middle-class families by expanding the Child Tax Credit, raising the minimum wage, and making healthcare more affordable.

Investing in education and job training will help workers adapt and thrive in a changing economy. Critics say taxing the rich could hurt growth, but history shows that fair tax policies boost the middle class, drive consumer spending, and benefit businesses. The real threat to growth is inequality. This plan is about fairness and opportunity. The middle class powers innovation and demand—they deserve policies that reward work, not just wealth. It’s time to build an economy that works for everyone
