Internet Stunned Over Who Obama Is Rumored To Be Dating Amid Divorce Speculation

The internet loves a juicy rumor, and when it involves former President Barack Obama, former First Lady Michelle Obama, and Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston, the speculation just doesn’t seem to go away.

If you’re unfamiliar with the gossip, consider yourself lucky. But if you spend any time on social media—especially on Elon Musk’s platform, X—you’ve probably already seen this story resurface once again.

What’s Fueling the Talk?

This time, the rumors have been reignited due to Michelle Obama’s new podcast, where she discusses her marriage. That, of course, has led to more whispers about trouble in the Obama household, with speculation that the former president is preparing to leave Michelle for Aniston.

The rumor isn’t new—it first made waves over a year ago and has continued to pop up intermittently. And just like before, there is absolutely no credible evidence to support it.

Aniston Has Already Denied It

Jennifer Aniston has directly addressed these claims before. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last fall, Kimmel showed her a tabloid headline that read, “The Truth About Jen & Barack,” with a subheading suggesting Michelle felt “betrayed” by her husband’s alleged connection with the Friends star.

Aniston’s reaction? She laughed it off, calling it completely untrue.

“Out of all the calls you get from your publicist, where you’re just like, ‘Oh no, what’s it gonna be?’” she joked. “And then it’s that.”

She made it clear that there was no basis to the rumors. “I have met him once,” she said. “I know Michelle more than him.”

Why Are the Rumors Back Again?

This latest wave of gossip gained traction after Barack Obama attended Jimmy Carter’s funeral and Donald Trump’s inauguration alone, while Michelle Obama opted not to attend. That was enough to set social media ablaze with speculation.

But the rumors didn’t stop there—former The View host Meghan McCain added fuel to the fire during a recent podcast appearance.

“I’ve heard this rumor that the Obamas are getting a divorce from reputable people,” McCain claimed. “I’m not talking about TMZ. I’m not talking about Perez Hilton, although I love him. I’m talking about very serious journalists telling me that they’re hearing these Obama divorce rumors are true.”

Tara Palmeri, the podcast’s host, agreed, saying she had heard similar whispers. She suggested that Michelle’s long-standing dislike of politics could be a factor, adding, “She clearly has very little interest—she has always hated politics!”

But Here’s the Reality

Despite all the speculation, the Obamas have continued to publicly celebrate their relationship.

On Michelle’s birthday in January, the couple shared a photo on Instagram appearing to show them having dinner together. Then, on Valentine’s Day, Barack Obama posted a picture of himself and Michelle looking happy and close.

“Thirty-two years together and you still take my breath away,” he wrote. “Happy Valentine’s Day, @MichelleObama!”

Michelle also posted the photo on her Instagram stories, writing, “If there’s one person I can always count on, it’s you @barackobama. You’re my rock. Always have been. Always will be. Happy Valentine’s Day, honey!”

Bottom Line: Just More Gossip

As of now, there’s no actual proof to back up the divorce claims—just online chatter and tabloid speculation. While social media may love a good scandal, it seems that this one remains nothing more than a rumor.
