In a powerful appearance on Fox News that came on the morning of Friday, September 12, President Donald Trump commented on the government’s capture of the individual who shot and killed Turning Point USA Founder Charlie Kirk, noting that the assassin has been locked up. The president also suggested that George Soros will face RICO charges for the NGO constellation he has financed.
Such is what the president said in his appearance on Fox & Friends, arguing that the leftist billionaire has gone too far in what he financed this time around, given the turn from just peaceful protests to riots and slayings, and thus that he has been funding criminal activity and so needs to be taken down by a RICO case.
Beginning his commentary on the matter, the president noted that Soros is paying a host of “unserious” people to cause chaos on his behalf, particularly lawyers, saying, “I had one the other night, I went into a restaurant, and this woman stood up. I looked at her immediately. She had money. She wasn’t, she wasn’t serious. They get paid for it, their profession, from Soros and other people.”
Continuing, he noted that the administration is looking into bringing a RICO case against Soros and other leftist funders of illegal activity like him, as they have aided and abetted criminal activity. He explained to the hosts, “And we’re going to look into Soros, because I think it’s a RICO case against him and other people.”
He then noted that what they are funding now isn’t just protesting, but outright riots and like violent activity. He explained, “Because this is more than like protests. This is real agitation. This is riots on the street, and we’re going to look into that. What do we do about our country with that?”
An investigation of such a sort could happen, as right now Congressional Republicans are pressing for a select committee on “the money, influence, and power behind the radical left’s assault on America and the rule of law.” Demanding such, they said, “Enough is enough. We must follow the money to identify the perpetrators of the coordinated anti-American assaults being carried out against us and take all steps under the law necessary to stop them.”
Watch President Trump here:
In his address on the matter that came shortly after the news that Kirk had died, President Trump warned that those who have engaged in anything regarding this conduct will face the full force of the US government, saying, “My administration will find each and every one of those who contributed to this atrocity and to other political violence, including the organizations that fund it and support it, as well as those who go after our judges, law enforcement officials, and everyone else who brings order to our country.”
He added, “I am filled with grief and anger at the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk on a college campus in Utah. Charlie inspired millions, tonight all who knew him and loved him are united in shock and horror. From the attack on my life in Butler, Pennsylvania last year, which killed a husband and father, to the attacks on ICE agents, to the vicious murder of a healthcare executive in the streets of New York, to the shooting of House Majority Leader Steve Scalise and three others. Radical left political violence has hurt too many innocent people and taken too many lives.”
He further said, “Tonight, I ask all Americans to commit themselves to the American values for which Charlie Kirk lived and died, the values of free speech, citizenship, the rule of law. His legacy will live on for countless generations to come. Today, because of this heinous act, Charlie’s voice has become bigger and grander than ever before, and it’s not even close. May God bless his memory. May God watch over his family.”
