Tragic Drowning at Lake Lanier: 27-Year-Old Man Dies After Jumping from Boat During Birthday Celebration
A tragic incident occurred on June 14, 2025, at Georgia’s Lake Lanier when 27-year-old Ramon Diaz-Soria drowned after jumping from a stationary boat during a friend’s birthday celebration. Despite wearing a life jacket, it was not properly secured, and he quickly sank beneath the surface. Family and friends confirmed that Diaz-Soria was unable to swim.
